Teri Hatcher has revealed that she suffers from a painful condition called frozen shoulder.
The actress told Extra TV about her secret illness, which affects the use of her left arm.
The condition has gotten so bad she has trouble moving her arm and struggles with everyday tasks such as getting dressed.
She said: “I've been struggling with this thing called frozen shoulder, which is a real condition which women get. It's basically left me pretty much not functioning with my left arm... I can't hook a bra anymore.”
The 'Desperate Housewives' star went on to say that she doesn't let the condition rule her life, and is getting cortisone injections to ease the pain.
Hatcher stressed that she wants to draw attention to the illness, but isn't looking for concern.
She said: “I'm not asking for sympathy or anything, it could be much worse, but when you take away something like being able to pick up a bag... I really can't wait 'til it's gone so I can just exercise like crazy again, because I sort of miss it.”
