Irish author Emma Donoghue has been shortlisted for this year's Orange Prize for Fiction for her novel 'Room'.
Now in its sixteenth year, the Orange Prize is the UK's only annual book award for fiction written by a woman.
Donoghue, who was nominated last year for the Man Booker Prize for 'Room', is joined on the Orange shortlist by Aminatta Forna ('The Memory of Love'), Emma Henderson ('Grace Williams Says it Loud'), Nicole Krauss ('Great House'), Téa Obreht ('The Tiger's Wife') and Kathleen Winter ('Annabel').
The winner will be announced on 8 June.
