Simon Cowell has dismissed reports about fears for his health, joking that he has "got at least weeks left".
Reports had suggested that Cowell's mother Julie was worried that his busy work schedule could impact on his health.
Speaking on 'Fox & Friends', Cowell said: "The headline was a little bit overdramatic."
"I think she was concerned. You know what mums are like, 'My boy is working too hard…' I think she mentioned it to someone and then it got picked up to be a bigger story."
"I genuinely am absolutely fine and I have got at least weeks left!"
