It is reported that the four stars of 'Desperate Housewives' - Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria - are finalising deals to return for the eighth season next year.
Deadline.com reports that the deals are for one year, with an option for a second.
The website claims that the stars' base salaries will rise to around $325,000 per episode, up from around $275,000 under their current deals.
With bonuses and additional compensation, the quartet's salaries are expected to reach up to $375,000 per episode.
If the series goes to a ninth season, the actresses' base episode salaries are expected to rise to around $350,000, which will mean the eighth and ninth seasons will be worth nearly $18m to each of the four.
Deadline.com says that newcomer Vanessa Williams will also return next season.
'Desperate Housewives' continues on RTÉ Two on Tuesday nights.
