Cher Lloyd is reportedly being lined up to perform on The X Factor USA.
The singer will apparently perform tracks from her upcoming debut album - recently described as "ingenious" - on one of the live shows.
Producers are said to have made the decision after being told by American fans that watching her performances online had inspired them to audition.
A source told The Sun: "The team are talking about bringing Cher into the show after hearing feedback from wannabes about her".
Auditions for the singing competition continue at Prudential Centre in Newark (April 14), Key Arena in Seattle (April 20), the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago (April 27) and Dallas Convention Centre, Dallas (May 26).
Demi Lovato is also rumoured to be appearing on one of the live shows.
