A tearful Eva Longoria opened up about her divorce from Tony Parker for the first time on 'Tonight with Piers Morgan'.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress appeared emotional when she opened up to the show’s host last night, saying that it was the first time she had spoken publicly about their separation.

"It's the first time I'm talking about it, so I'm sorry - it was heartbreaking. I think it was disappointing because I had such an identity in being 'Mrs Parker', and being a wife, and so when that's taken away from you, you think, 'Who am I?' It was hard."

The 36-year-old went on to say that she wished the sportsman nothing but the best in life.

"He just wanted something else and I don't hate him for it," she revealed. "I would never speak publicly about what happened or why we got divorced because I love him and we still talk, we are in each other's lives."

Eva and Tony split in November last year amid allegations he had been unfaithful with the wife of his teammate Brent Barry, Erin.

Longoria didn't comment specifically on these claims during her hour-long chat with Morgan. Their divorce was finalised in January and Eva has since been romantically linked to the brother of Penelope Cruz, Eduardo.
