'Emmerdale's new character Alex Moss is set to cause trouble at the Barton's farm when Adam becomes jealous of him.
According to PA, actor Kurtis Stacey revealed that his character, farm worker Alex, will work hard to make an impression on John Barton, causing Adam to feel upset.
He said: "I don't think he'll get on with Adam because he replaces Adam on the farm. Adam sees him arrive and work really hard and is annoyed that he's good."
"The girls are impressed and Adam can tell that Hannah likes Alex and he doesn't like it."
"I think Andy will be in the middle a bit because I can see him being a bit stuck between them, being mates with us both. Andy is the only person Alex knows in the village at first."
"I think the locals will be a bit suspicious of him at first, especially when they see him with different girls. Hopefully they'll realise he's okay, for now."
