Keith Duffy has talked about the return of his character, Ciarán McCarthy, to 'Coronation Street'.
In an interview on ITV1's 'Loose Women', Duffy said: "I'm back up in Manchester, please God if they give me a job back, in September - the 15th of September.
"Kym Marsh, who's obviously Ciarán's partner on the screen, is off on maternity leave with her lovely little baby Polly at the moment. I think the two of us will return together."
Fans of the soap saw Ciarán leave Weatherfield with Michelle (Marsh) for a job on a cruise.
