'Coronation Street' actress Paula Lane has said that she wants to get married in real life.
Lane, who plays Kylie Turner in the soap, has been dating actor Tom Shaw since the age of 17.
She told the Daily Star Sunday that Shaw is "definitely the one".
The actress told the newspaper: "Tom and I are moving up to Manchester in a few weeks' time. We're feeling very lucky at the moment as we're both in a position where we're working. I think we're just enjoying being young, having holidays and loving life as a couple.
"But saying that, I'd definitely say yes to getting married if he asked me. I think he's waiting to make sure it feels right - but he's had long enough. We've been together for years. He's definitely the one, there's no doubt in my mind. It's taking him a little longer to figure it all out. But we're very happy."
Lane also spoke about her character's upcoming wedding to David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), saying: "A lot of people already think that it's not going to work, so I'd really like to prove them all wrong. When Kylie turns up at the register office, Gail is completely shocked as she's tried to pay her off. Everyone will see Gail squirming in her seat."
