Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren has joined a legion of Hollywood stars after leaving her mark in the cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
The actress, who signed her name alongside her foot and handprints in a time-honoured tradition, talked about how proud she felt to be standing on Hollywood Boulevard.
According to the Daily Mail, she said: "I've always loved the history of Hollywood and I live very close to here in a very old house that is a part of the history of Hollywood.
"So it's with incredible pride that I'm here to become a part of that history".
Mirren was introduced by Russell Brand, her co-star from the upcoming movie 'Arthur'.
Brand said: "I feel hugely honoured to be involved in today's ceremony. Because I'm in love with Helen.
"She's a really wonderful woman. Having spent the last three months utterly ensnared by her charm, I understand why she's being honoured in this way."
Mirren joined the hundreds of other stars who have left their mark at the iconic theatre, including Julie Andrews, Frank Sinatra and more recently the likes of Cher and Brad Pitt.
In 'Arthur', Mirren plays Hobson, the nanny to the lovable and irresponsible billionaire Arthur (Brand).
In the original 1981 version, Hobson was a butler played by John Gielgud, who won a best supporting actor Academy Award for the role.
Mirren won an Oscar, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in 'The Queen'.
She received Academy Award nominations for her roles in 'The Madness of King George', 'Gosford Park' and 'The Last Station'.
