Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is in talks to join the US version of 'The X Factor'.
The star said she has been approached to join the forthcoming competition as a judge.
She told Women's Wear Daily: "They have definitely talked to me about X Factor. I think it would be a lot of fun.
Simpson added: "It's definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people's dreams come true."
Previously Simpson had denied speculation that she was in talks to join the show.
Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, the former Island Def Jam record label chairman, are currently the only confirmed judges for the series.
