No duet for Gwyneth and Chris

Gwyneth Paltrow has declared that “hell would freeze over” before she would ever consider singing with her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

The academy-award winning actress might be showing off her vocal-skills in her new movie ‘Country Song’ but Gwyneth Paltrow is adamant that she will never share a mic with ‘Yellow’ singing husband Chris Martin.

She told The Sun; "Never. I think hell would freeze over first. So I guess if I did form a band with Chris it would be called the Hell Freezes Over Band."

The A-list couple, who married in 2003, are notorious for not attending red-carpet events together. Paltrow said; “He doesn't want people to listen to his music and automatically think of us as a couple. And I think it's better that way - it's nicer to keep it so that when we are at home it is our own thing.”

She continued; “Then, when we're in public, that's our careers. It's just better to keep it separate."

Country Strong is released on March 25.
