McFly star Dougie Poynter has said that checking into rehab was "one of the best things" that he has ever done.
According to the Daily Mail, the 23-year-old, who checked into the Priory following his split from The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford, said that he was now feeling "positive".
Poynter said: "It's one of the best things I've ever done in my whole life. I'm still me but it's definitely been very positive."
"I don't know how I've changed. I try not to really think too much about it."
When asked about reports claiming that Sandford had received death threats following the split, Poynter said: "It's out of my control really."
"I think anyone receiving death threats is not a good thing."
"I don't support anything like that - I don't wish any bad things upon anybody."
