Irish Eurovision winner Linda Martin has laughed off a British magazine report that she was once married to former 'EastEnders' star Larry Lamb and is mother to his TV presenter son George.
The Herald reports that Closer magazine said that Lamb's first wife was "Irish TV presenter and singer Linda Martin, who he married aged 32".
Martin told The Herald: "His first wife must have been called Linda Martin as well and the journalist googled it and came up with me.
"I've been taking loads of calls on it, from relatives and everything, I should imagine he's been getting the same thing. I was laughing my head off. I don't even know him, I've never even met him but I would know his face from 'EastEnders'.
"The funny thing is, I looked up photos of his son George afterwards and he looks very much like a Martin with the dark skin and eyes. But, no, it's just a case of mistaken identity."
