David Beckham has confirmed that he and his wife Victoria are expecting the arrival of a baby girl.
Speculation has been mounting for weeks that the couple are expecting the arrival of a baby girl this summer.
David confirmed that a daughter was on the way at a press conference for LA Galaxy yesterday saying: “Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl.”
The couple who already have three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz 5, had up until now refused to comment on the sex of their unborn baby, but are clearly over the moon with the news that they are finally expecting their much wished for daughter.
He added: “We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon.
"Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well.”
