Brit Award winning singer Jessie J was reportedly bullied at school and labelled an 'alien' after medication for a heart condition turned her skin green.
In an interview with The Sun, she said: "It might be kinda funny now but it was horrific at the time."
The singer was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat when she was 11 and suffered a stroke when she was younger.
The singer claims she was picked on after her skin changed colour from the medication she was taking and was also called 'Bugs Bunny' as children at her school in Essex, teased her about her teeth.
She added: "Kids at school nicknamed me Alien and they threw rocks at me."
The singer, who has topped the charts with 'Price Tag', has also reportedly found it hard adjusting to her newfound fame.
A source told The Daily Star that she was suffering from panic attacks during gigs: "Jessie doesn't know how she's going to cope with all the new attention she's getting.
"A few months ago, no one knew who she was and now she can't go out without someone shouting at her or wanting a picture.
"Jessie's also very protective of her family and loved ones and doesn't want them brought into the showbiz bubble.
"She's also had poor health in the past and has suffered panic attacks on stage so she needs to keep as calm as possible."
The singer recently admitted that she was bisexual and had a 'girl crush' on Rihanna, who she called her 'style icon'.
