Scarlett Johansson is said to have fallen "head over heels" for fellow actor Sean Penn, after the two reportedly shared a holiday together in Mexico.
Reports first circulated about the potential couple early last month after a series of dinner dates, although representatives for both stars have declined to comment so far.
However a source now claims that Johansson, 26, is getting serious about the 50-year-old 'Milk' actor.
They told PopEater: "She thinks Sean is amazing. He's exactly the kind of guy she wants.
"She doesn't care about the age difference. In fact, that's what makes him so attractive."
The report also claims that Johansson is considering accompanying Penn to Haiti in the spring, in order to help out his charity the J/P Haitian Relief Organization in assisting victims of last year's earthquake.
Johansson is currently working in Los Angeles on Cameron Crowe's new film 'We Bought a Zoo', in which she stars with Matt Damon.
