'Loose Women' host and actress Denise Welch has become the latest contestant to be voted off ITV's 'Dancing on Ice'.
Welch and partner Matt Evers were placed in the skate-off with soldier Johnson Beharry and his professional partner Jodeyne Higgins.
Judges Jason Gardiner, Robin Cousins and Emma Bunton all chose to save Beharry and Higgins over Welch and Evers.
Commenting after her elimination, Welch said: "Thank you to the best bunch of pals anyone could have had to see us through this, to all my supporters and the public who have kept me in to this stage in the competition.
"I never in a million years thought I would get to this stage. I'm knackered, I've had the most wonderful time and I'm going on the tour so you haven't seen the last of me yet."
Earlier in the show Welch’s actor husband Tim Healy leap to her defence by confronting judge Jason Gardiner on stage. When Gardiner said: "It shows that you are better at the slower stuff - but I would like to say it was a little bit like watching two people play Twister" Healy made his way to the stage.
With his wife pleading with him to sit down, Healy went up to Gardiner and said "She’s 52 and she’s got four jobs! How many jobs have you got, eh?"
