It has been announced that singer Christina Aguilera will be a coach on the new US musical talent show 'The Voice'.
Commenting on her new role, she said: "I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it.
"To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms."
Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine are also working as coaches on 'The Voice', with a fourth coach yet to be announced.
The series premieres on American television on 26 April.
