Straight-shooting comedienne Joan Rivers has fired the first shot ahead of her Oscar night red carpet appearance by dismissing Jennifer Aniston as boring. The irrepressible Rivers was discussing the stars who will be waltzing into the Kodak Theater in Hollywood tonight with her co-host, and daughter, Melissa. And she was taking no prisoners.
"I would like to take Jennifer Aniston and put her hair over her ****ing face," the Rivers told Us Weekly. "I'm so bored with her and her stupid movies.”
“They're all the same, I don't know how they get financed," the acerbic comedienne added.
The former Friends star has been carving out a film career since those sitcom days with somewhat uneven results. Her latest, Just Go With It in which she co-starred with Adam Sandler was a critical flop but topped the US box-office earlier this month.
Rivers and her daughter are currently adding spice to the US airwaves with their own show for WeTV called Joan And Melissa: Joan Knows Best.
