Ronan Keating has lashed out at the gang who beat up his Australian 'X Factor' winner, Altiyan Childs.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the TV talent show winner was attacked outside a pub following a gig in Tasmania recently.
Childs, who has previously spoken about his history of being bullied, wrote on his Twitter page: "We were at a pub where a group of guys were calling me [names].
"We were followed out by four of the blokes. They whacked me and I hit the floor, then two of them got on me.
"I have multiple bruises but apart from that I'm ok [sic]."
He added: "Life is a risk and I choose to trust people. These men were filled with hatred – and the haters are just so powerful if you give them that."
Keating responded on his Twitter page: "Just spoke to Altiyan thank God he is ok.
"Nobody likes a bully. Send him my way next time wimps. Ha Ha. X"
