Production on Charlie Sheen's CBS and Warner Bros Television show 'Two and a Half Men' has been shut down.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the American network pulled the plug on the comedy following a vitriolic rant by star Charlie Sheen during an appearance on the US radio show, 'The Alex Jones Show'.
The companies said in a statement: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season."
Sheen referred to the show's creator Chuck Lorre as a "turd" and a "clown".
He also challenged Lorre to a fight and called him "a stupid, stupid little man and a…punk that I never want to be like".
Sheen's representative has yet to comment on the reports.
