Irish actor Michael Fassbender has been linked to the lead role in the new Jason Bourne film, 'The Bourne Legacy'.
Deadline.com's Mike Fleming wrote: "Here are the names I've heard have met with [director Tony] Gilroy or are otherwise in the mix: Joel Edgerton, Josh Hartnett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Paul Dano, Michael Pitt, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, Michael Fassbender, Luke Evans, Alex Pettyfer, Taylor Kitsch, Benjamin Walker."
The film will begin production in the autumn with Gilroy, who wrote the screenplays for 'The Bourne Identity', 'The Bourne Supremacy' and 'The Bourne Ultimatum', directing from his own script.
