Actress Patsy Palmer has admitted that she is in no rush to return to 'EastEnders' and would even accept a role in 'Coronation Street'.

The actress, who gave birth to her fourth child Bertie in December, sparked rumours that she had quit the BBC soap last month following comments related to the baby swap storyline.

However, she later dismissed these and insisted that she would return as Bianca Jackson when "the time is right for me and the show".

The Sun has reported that Palmer spoke about her future on the show in a new interview with Piers Morgan for his ITV chatshow.

She said: "I don't miss it. At the moment I'm being a mum and that's the job I want to do, so I don't miss being at work.

"I don't know when I'm going back."

She confessed that a long-term future on the show is never guaranteed: "You could be watching it one minute, then it's your funeral the next. You never know."

Palmer went on to claim that she would not turn down a role in rival soap 'Coronation Street': "Yeah, if they wanted me to.

"At the moment I wouldn't, as I'm looking after my baby, but why not?"
