The producers of Peter Pan have announced that they will be auditioning for a number of roles ahead of the world premiere of the musical on July 15. The search is on for three boys to play the role of Michael Darling and two teams of 10 boys to play the Lost Boys. The auditions will be on Sunday, April 10, from 9.30am, at Grand Canal Theatre, Dublin. Children will be seen strictly in the order in which they arrive and the auditions must conclude by 4pm.
For the role of Michael Darling the producers are looking for boys aged between 7 and 12 and a maximum height of 4ft 6”. This role will include rehearsals in London and flying onstage so boys must be able to cope with heights. The Lost Boys have to be between the ages of 7 and 14 and a maximum of 5 feet. Identical twins are especially required.
So if you want to be a star – and have a head for heights – this could be your lucky break.
