When Usher first met Justin Bieber, the r ‘n’ b star made the young Canadian wait to audition. It happened in a parking lot at a time when Usher was top of the pops and Bieber was just another young hopeful waiting for his tilt at stardom.
"I was in a session and it was very cold outside,” Usher told the wannabe. “He said, ‘I'm Justin and I'd really like to sing for you, I'm a big fan of yours'. So I said, ‘Come inside man, it's cold out here'. We went into the corridor and I said, ‘You know what? I don't think you should do it right now if it's truly meant it'll happen and we will meet again'.
How times have changed. Recently both stars performed at the Grammys where the 16-year-old Bieber paid tribute to Usher and how he helped his career. A week and a half after their initial meeting, the two met again and this time Bieber was invited to Usher’s studio.
