The critically acclaimed feature-length documentary 'What We Leave in Our Wake' will be screened on RTÉ One on Monday night.
Directed by Pat Collins, the documentary blends archive and contemporary footage and "looks back at where we’ve come from and what we've achieved as a nation since Independence and examines our values in 2011".
Among the issues explored in the RTÉ/Irish Film Board co-funded programme are religion, land, socialism, consumerism and "the sense of a civic society".
'What We Leave in Our Wake' airs on Monday, 21 February on RTÉ One at 10:40pm.
