'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively has joined the cast of new movie 'Hick'.
The 23-year-old actress told ITN that she will play the drug addict mother of a 13-year-old Nebraskan girl, who runs away to Las Vegas armed with a gun.
Lively was highly praised for her portrayal of the drug addict mother of a baby in Ben Affleck 's 'The Town' and will next appear on screen opposite Ryan Reynolds in 'Green Lantern' this summer.
The fashion forward star said that shooting for the flick soon will begin soon and she also denied reports that she is to play Carrie Bradshaw in a Sex and the City prequel.
