The unstoppable Justin Bieber has got his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine where his comments on sex before marriage and abortion have put him on the cover of magazines across the planet. 'I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,” says the sixteen-year-old superstar.
The Canadian (with 16.5 million Facebook friends and counting) was reared as a Christian so his comments should come as no surprise to anyone. Except maybe Rollling Stone readers who might have expected something more rock and roll from the publication.
When asked if he believes in strict abstinence before marriage, Bieber added: 'I think you should just wait for the person you're … in love with.' Throughout the interview the superstar made no reference to the actress Selena Gomez, who he is reportedly dating.
Meanwhile Justin 'Bieber Fever' took hold in Dublin and London last night, with the premiere of the teen singing sensation's first film 'Never Say Never'.
According to the Irish Independent hundreds of screaming female fans filled the entrance hall of London's O2 Arena to catch a glimpse of the 17-year-old, before seeing his 3D biopic.
Following on from his success at Tuesday night's Brit Awards, where he picked up the award for international breakthrough act, he arrived at the busy London premiere.
The 'Baby' singer said that he hoped people would be "motivated and inspired" by the film, which charts his rise from drum-playing toddler to international star.
He said: "All my fans have been amazing and supportive so I'm glad to be here."
In Dublin the premiere took place at Cineworld on Parnell Street and fans who attended included Karla Elliot, models Gail Kaneswaren and Georgia Salpa, boxer Bernard Dunne with his daughter Caoimhe, Lisa Fitzpatrick and Morah Ryan.
