Former 'Hollyoaks' star Chris Fountain has completed his first day of filming on 'Coronation Street'.

STV reports that Fountain has been cast as Tommy Duckworth, the grandson of the late Vera and Jack.
He tweeted: "Great first day filming @itvcorrie first scene with @BrookeLVincent was good, I like 'Tommy' already!! (sic)."
Later, he added: "Thanks to everyone wishing me luck in my new job, it's much appreciated! I'll probably be on screen some time mid-March."
When Tommy arrives in Weatherfield he is unaware that Jack has died.
