Michael Caine has revealed that he believes the cast of 'The Dark Knight Rises', the sequel to 'The Dark Knight', is "fabulous".
In an interview with E! News about progress on the third Batman film from director Christopher Nolan, Caine said that he is very happy with the cast assembled for the movie.
The Oscar winner was surprised, though, when he heard about the possible casting of one actress: "Marion Cotillard is in it? Nobody tells me these things. Oh, shoot. I didn't know."
He added: "Well, Anne Hathaway is Catwoman isn't she? Well, that's fabulous. Tom Hardy is gonna be great too. He's a tough British actor."
Caine, who will reprise his role as Alfred the Butler, went on to say that he has not yet received a script for the film, which is due to begin shooting in May.
He said: "I talked to Chris [Nolan] last week 'cause I said I hadn't gotten a script and he said, 'I haven't finished it'. And he said, 'I'll finish it in two weeks'."
