A spokesperson for Blake Lively has denied reports that the actress is set to play Carrie Bradshaw in a 'Sex and the City' prequel.
It had been rumoured that the 'Gossip Girl' star was being considered for a movie adaptation of Candace Bushnell's novels about a young Carrie moving to New York City.
However, Lively's rep told Gossip Cop: "There is no truth to it."
'Sex and the City' creator Bushnell previously suggested that Miley Cyrus would be a good choice to portray Carrie in any future prequels.
