'Coronation Street' star Steve Huison has said that he was really "disappointed" when he found out that his character was being written out of the show.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, the actor, who plays Eddie Windass, said: "I've really enjoyed my time, it's one of the nicest jobs you can get in this business, and it's the longest job I've ever had!"
"I was disappointed when I found out, because I think there's a lot more mileage in the character, but the writers obviously don't. You can never take these things for granted, though."
