There is speculation that one marriage on 'Coronation Street' may not survive after its latest challenge.

The Daily Star reports that Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) takes the blame for wife Becky's (Katherine Kelly) theft of the takings from Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Sunita (Shobna Gulati) Alahan's shop during the tram crash.
Becky took the money so she could buy her nephew Max from sister Kylie Turner (Paula Lane).
A source told the paper: "Dev and Sunita are horrified that Steve was the one who raided their shop while people were dying. They are hell-bent on justice."
After seeing Steve's sacrifice Becky confesses to Dev and Sunita and explains why she stole the money.
They agree not to tell the police, but there are more problems for Becky to deal with.
"Steve tells her that, thanks to her, he just seems to lurch from one disaster to another," the source said.
"If she messes up again, their marriage is over."
