'The Hangover' star Zach Galifianakis is in talks to star opposite the 'Green Lantern's Ryan Reynolds in an adaptation of the Dark Horse comic 'RIPD' ('Rest in Peace Department').
According to Collider, the comic is about dead police officers who patrol the underworld and Reynolds is set to play Nick Cruz, recently murdered and out for revenge.
Galifianakis is reported to play Roy Powell, whom producer Neal Moritz described as “a gunslinger who’s been dead for hundreds of years.”
24 Frames has reported that the film, which will be directed by Robert Schwektke, is set to begin shooting this summer when Reynolds has a gap in his schedule.
