'Emmerdale' star Sammy Winward has said that viewers can expect "intense" scenes in the coming weeks.
Speaking on 'This Morning', the actress said that her character Katie will soon learn more about Henshall's (Michael McKell) past.
She said: "I've just finished filming probably the most intense thing I've ever done really.
"It was me and Michael. [We] had nearly 30 two-handers in one set basically."
"It was really hard to make it interesting and different."
When asked if the storyline would involve Henshall's dead wife, she said: "Possibly! I can't tell you, but it's going to be really good - I hope."
