Former 'This Morning' presenter Fern Britton is returning to daytime TV with a new Channel 4 show.
The Press Association reports that 'Fern' will begin next month and will run in the 5-6pm slot.
Commenting, she said: "I am very excited about being in on the start of a brand new show. I'm working with a great team and together we shall rise to the challenge."
Head of Channel 4 daytime programmes Helen Warner added: "I have long been a fan of Fern and am thrilled that she is joining us at Channel 4.
"Whether she's interviewing ordinary people, Hollywood stars or prime ministers, there is no one better than Fern. For me, she is the British answer to Oprah."
