'EastEnders' newcomer Ricky Norwood has revealed who he would like to see play his on-screen father in upcoming episodes of the soap.
Viewers will see Norwood's character, Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb, joined by father Ashley in the coming months.
The role is currently being cast.
Digital Spy reports that speaking to reporters at the National Television Awards in the UK, Norwood said: "In an ideal world I'd love David Jason to play my dad. Can you imagine? Del Boy and Fatboy. It would be great but whoever comes in I'm sure they're going to be great.
"I'm looking forward to seeing who they cast."
Norwood was named Most Popular Newcomer at the awards, while Jason won the Most Outstanding Drama Performance award.
