'Home and Away' star Samara Weaving has said that she began acting as a way of gaining confidence because she was "really shy".
Speaking to the Herald Sun, the actress, who plays Indigo Walker in the soap, said: "I was really shy as a child and, because my family moved around all the time, my dad thought it would be a good idea to put me into acting to bring me out of my shell."
"I hated [acting] at first, but then it became something I absolutely loved and I can't really think of doing anything else."
