Kara Tointon has revealed that she knew that Artem Chigvinstev, her dance partner on 'Strictly Come Dancing', was special very soon after meeting him.
The couple got together two weeks after they first met on the show, but tried to hide their romance from the press until they won the BBC1 ballroom competition.
Tointon told Hello magazine about falling for the Russian dancer.
She said: “I knew pretty quick that I’d met someone special. We were getting to know each other and I thought ’God, I really like him’.”
The former 'Eastenders' actress also said that he "fitted in" easily when he spent Christmas with her family.
“It has been my dream to meet someone that my family would love as much as I did.”
