'Coronation Street' star Mikey North has said that he is "gutted" to see co-star Steve Huison leaving the show.
According to Holy Soap, the actor, who plays Gary Windass in the soap, said that he would miss Huison, who plays his on-screen father Eddie, when he leaves.
North said: "I am so gutted to see him go because your parents on screen do become like real parents in a way."
"Being at work so often you spend more time with them than you do your real folks sometimes."
"I am devastated he's going but he's such a good actor I'm sure he'll go on to other things. Debbie [Rush, who plays Anna Windass] and I will certainly miss him."
