Despite facing criticism for miming, Cheryl Cole has been nominated for two Brit Awards ahead of the ceremony next month.
The star, 27, has been short-listed in the categories for Best British Single, for her record 'Parachute', and Best British Female Artist.
According to the Daily Mail, Cole was heavily criticised in October when it emerged she had mimed most of her performance on 'The X Factor'.
The paper reports that show insiders initially denied that the singer had mimed any part of her hit 'Promise This', before finally admitting she lip-synched most of the song.
However, Cole silenced many of her critics when the Girls Aloud star sang live at the Royal Variety Performance last month and on 'Alan Carr's Chatty Man' over Christmas.
