Topping the list of Brit Award nominations this year is South London singer Tinie Tempah, who appears in four different categories including British Album of the Year.

Fearne Cotton revealed the 68 nominations at a ceremony last night.

Hot on Tinie Tempah's heels are Plan B, The XX and Mumford & Sons, who have all received three nominations, while Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole, Take That, Rumer, Cee Lo Green, Arcade Fire, Katy Perry and Eminem are all nominated in two categories.

Of these, Plan B, Mumford & Sons, The XX and Take That join Tinie Tempah to battle it out for the biggest award of the evening, the MasterCard British Album of the Year.

Irish band The Script are among the nominees for Best International Group.

In addition to his four nominations, Tinie Tempah will also perform live at the Brit Awards along with Take That, Plan B and Rihanna.

The Brit Awards 2011will be held at The O2 in London on Tuesday, 15 February.

The Brit Awards announced in December that Jessie J was following in the footsteps of Adele and Florence and the Machine to become the winner of the Critics Choice Award.
