Katie Price and Alex Reid's sudden silence about state of their marriage is reportedly due to 'money rows'
According to the Daily Mail the saga surrounding their marriage continued without conclusion last night after the mooted statement from their PR company announcing it was over failed to emerge.
The paper reports that a press conference was due to be held yesterday but was apparently called off at the last minute.
The pair, who have kept fans guessing about the status of their relationship for the past few months, were said to have even already written their statement.
However, it now seems that Katie backtracked on making their split public because she wants to protect her estimated €48 million (£40m) fortune.
The Sun reports that Katie spent yesterday taking legal advice in a bid to prevent Reid from obtaining her assets in a divorce settlement.
