Recent reports that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will not be attending the Oscars due to Anne Hathaway's skit on 'Saturday Night Live' have been denied.
According to Now, Hathaway recently impersonated Holmes on a skit on the American TV show where Hathaway's Holmes visited the fictional 'Miley Cyrus Show'.
Holmes was reportedly offended by the skit, leading her and Cruise to allegedly decide to boycott the Oscars, which will be hosted by Hathaway.
However, a representative for Cruise told Pop Eater that the rumour is "not true and made up".
Furthermore, according to the rep, the couple planned not to attend the Oscars, which will take place on 27 February 2011, long before Hathaway's 'Saturday Night Live' performance.
