Adrian Chiles has said the way his 'Daybreak' co-host Christine Bleakley is portrayed in the media is "a disgrace".
Digital Spy reports that in an interview with Live magazine, Chiles said: "She's been treated as a scheming, vindictive social climber. But she hasn't got it in her."
Chiles also revealed that people's attitudes to him have changed since he started to present the ITV show.
He said: "People used to stop me on the street and say how much they liked a programme. Now they stop me and say, 'We watch it anyway,' with a look of pity on their faces."
