The father of Irish Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, Paul, reportedly keeps a close eye on the 16-year-old 'The Way Back' actress.
According to The Star, Ronan said: "An awful lot of work has gone into looking after Saoirse and making sure that she's still just Saoirse and not some product."
He added that he admits to monitoring her scripts to ensure they are "appropriate" for her age and that he and his wife, Monika are "at all times" on set and at premieres
He added: "We do what we can to keep her shielded from everything but that which is age appropriate."
