'EastEnders' star Samantha Womack has explained why her character Ronnie reacted the way she did after losing her baby son.
Speaking to Soaplife, the actress said: "You can't just steal somebody's baby. But Ronnie's not a normal person."
"She's been through so much with her dad, Danielle, the miscarriage... She wouldn't react in the same way as somebody who has had a happy life."
Speaking about the plot, she said: "As a mother myself it was so hard to play. When Ronnie found her baby dead I had to stop filming for a bit as I couldn't stop crying. It was too much."
