It is reported that 'EastEnders' character Glenda Mitchell (Glynis Barber) is to become a surrogate mother for an Albert Square couple.

The Daily Mirror reports that Christian Clarke (John Partridge) and Syed Masood (Marc Elliott) will ask the mother-of-three to have a baby for them.
An 'EastEnders' source told the paper: "Christian and Syed having a baby together will be the biggest storyline on the soap this year, and one of the most controversial in the programme's history.
"Producers think it will be a ratings hit and prove a massive talking point among viewers."
