Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona have reportedly ended their long-standing feud, ahead of 2011's 'Dancing On Ice'.
Since their split in 2004, McFadden has called Katona a "pig-headed mole", while Katona has referred to McFadden as "the fat one from Westlife".
However according to the Daily Star, the pair, who have two daughters together, have finally reconciled their differences.
A source said: "For the first time in years, they are friends. They have had a tough few years but have both grown up since their split and they have realised there is no point in being bitter."
McFadden is believed to have told Katona that he will be around to look after the children while she is taking part in 'Dancing On Ice', and that he will fully support her attempts to relaunch her career.
They added: "There is a lot of emotion between them still, even after all these years.
"It has shocked them both how quickly they have turned things around but they couldn't be happier about it."
McFadden is currently engaged to Australian popstar Delta Goodrem.
